Recommendations in Arizona

Dear Bird Talk,
I have never been to Arizona and would like some suggestions of where to go for six weeks. I would like a destination that provides activities, has a pool or two and is pet-friendly.

Ed.: Last year, my wife and I spent some time in Sedona, Arizona. My guess is that you would love it. Many snowbirds winter just east of Phoenix in Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa and the surrounding area. Have fun!
